Founding Chapter President

In 2015, a dedicated group of local alumni came together to bridge the gap between our historic alma mater and the graduates living in the Atlanta, Georgia area. This chapter was brought to life through the vision and tireless efforts of our Founding Chapter President, Marnie Stampley.
As our inaugural leader, Marnie set the standard for our chapter's success. While she has passed the torch to new leadership, she continues to serve as President Emeritus and remains an active advisor, mentor, and champion of our chapter.
We are profoundly grateful for her foundational leadership, which began over a decade ago and continues to guide our mission of keeping the Roneagle spirit alive in our community.

The McDonogh 35 Atlanta Alumni Association recognizes Kevin Edwards as the recipient of our Legacy of Generosity Award and welcomes him as an Honorary Lifetime Member of our chapter.
Since the founding of the Atlanta Chapter in 2015, Kevin has been a steadfast supporter of our mission. Through his extraordinary generosity, he has graciously provided his venues for Meet & Greets, Mardi Gras Socials, the All White Affair, and other special events. His willingness to give so freely has created welcoming spaces where alumni could reconnect, celebrate our shared heritage, and strengthen the bonds of our McDonogh 35 family.
His generosity has done more than provide a place to gather, it has helped our chapter grow. By donating the use of his venues, he enabled us to dedicate more resources to scholarships, student initiatives, and programs that support the legacy of McDonogh 35 Senior High School.
In grateful appreciation of his unwavering generosity, steadfast support, and enduring commitment to our chapter, we are honored to present Kevin Edwards with the Legacy of Generosity Award and confer Honorary Lifetime Membership in the McDonogh 35 Atlanta Alumni Association. His kindness, friendship, and spirit of service have left a lasting impact on our chapter and will continue to inspire generations of alumni to come.
